Cobra King Snakebite Wedge - Custom Fit From  €129.00

1 - Hand Choice
Choose Option
Cobra Hand Choice
It's fair to say that this option is self explanatory...Choose Right Hand if you are Right Handed...Choose Left hand if you are Left Handed.
2 - Loft & Bounce
Choose Option
Cobra Loft & Bounce

Loft angle affects both trajectory and distance; the more loft, the higher the trajectory. A wedge with more bounce is easier to play from soft sand or grass because it will naturally fight the tendency to dig in. A wedge with less bounce tends to dig more, and is better for firm conditions when digging is more difficult.

Please Note : ** indicates available in Right Hand Only.

3 - Shaft Selection
Choose Option
Cobra Shaft Selection
This option allows you to choose which shafts you would like to have. There are a number of shaft choices available to meet the different needs of golfers. If there is a particular shaft you require which is not listed please e-mail us to ensure it's availability and compatibility with these wedges.
4 - Shaft Flex
Choose Option
Cobra Shaft Flex
Choosing a Flex option allows you to decide on a Regular Shaft, (Standard Swing). Stiff Shaft, (Faster Swing). or Xtra Stiff Shaft, (Very Fast and Powerful Swing) Please see Shaft Choices for available Flexes.
5 - Grip Choice
Choose Option
Cobra Grip Choice
Please Choose the Grip you would like to have on your club.
6 - Grip Size
Choose Option
Cobra Grip Size
This is where you can choose the size of the grip on your club. Some golfers are happy to play with the standard grip whilst others prefer a thicker grip,i.e. Midsize. The grip thickness is achieved by applying tape to the club shaft underneath the grip. Here you can choose to have between 1 and 5 lengths of tape with 1 being standard and 5 being midsize.
7 - Club Length
Choose Option
Cobra Club Length
Having the proper golf club length is a key ingredient to being able to make a good golf swing. Clubs that are too short or too long will hinder your ability to rotate and properly transfer your weight during the swing. It could also cause you to ground the club too early if they are too long or top the ball if they are too short.
8 - Lie Angle
Choose Option
Cobra Lie Angle
Lie angle is the angle between the bottom, or sole, of the golf club and the shaft. Having the proper lie angle is critical if you want the opportunity to make accurate golf shots. The purpose in adjusting the golf club's lie angle is to ensure that the club is resting squarly on its sole when you are addressing your shot. This will help get your swing on the right plane and keep the clubface square at impact. A lie angle that is too upright will cause the heel of the club to hit the ground first, which will close the clubface and produce a pull or hook. A lie angle that is too flat causes the toe to hit the ground first, opening the clubface, which will result in a push or slice.
9 - Loft Angle
Choose Option
Cobra Loft Angle
Golf clubs with standard loft angles will suit most golfers. The purpose in selecting a different loft for your club(s) would be to help correct a tendency to hit consistently lower trajectory or higher trajectory shots than would be normal. Strong loft means lower loft angle. Heavy hitters with strong hand action may want a "strong" loft to get more distance and keep the ball lower and out of the wind

Cobra Logo

COBRA® Golf, a leader in golf club innovation, unveiled today its new KING COBRA Wedge with Snakebite Groove Technology. The wedge features a nostalgic throwback KING COBRA logo, reminiscent of the rich history and evolution of the brand. The new Snakebite groove design is engineered to maximize spin and fittingly produce more ‘bite’ around the greens.

The Snakebite Groove Technology utilizes a re-engineered cutting method that replaces cutting tools more often to tighten groove tolerances, maximize groove volume, and create the sharpest and most accurate grooves possible. The new Snakebite groove design increases the groove depth by 11% and sharpens the edges by 40% to deliver maximum spin to the ball.

A progressive groove system utilizes progressive groove lengths and progressive groove shapes to optimize spin for each wedge loft. The 48-54-degree lofts feature a traditional groove length and narrower and deeper grooves to deliver consistent spin and trajectories on the lower lofted wedges that are used with a square or de-lofted face. The 56-60-degree lofts feature full face groove length and wider and shallower grooves to maximize spin on shots with an open face when the ball is more likely to make contact with the high toe area.

The faces and grooves are CNC Milled on each wedge to create the most precise face and groove shapes for optimal spin and trajectory control.

The KING COBRA Wedge is available in three grinds:

  • Versatile grind: an excellent all-around grind for medium to firm course conditions, featuring toe, heel and trailing edge relief.
  • Classic grind: features a progressive sole width from heel-to-toe, with trailing edge relief, benefiting neutral to steeper swings and a variety of course conditions.
  • Widelow grind: a wide, low bounce sole works its magic out of soft bunkers, soft turf conditions and prevents the leading edge from digging.

Each KING COBRA Wedge features a black Lamkin Crossline Smart grip and an aftermarket KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 (125g) shaft. Equipped with COBRA CONNECT, Powered by Arccos Golf, featuring electronically enabled Lamkin Crossline smart grips that work in conjunction with the Arccos Caddie app to give users the ability to track their wedge stats, and learn their tendencies so they can practice more efficiently.

Note: Due to global shortages outside our control, Cobra Golf currently has no stock of the Arccos sensors, and are unable to secure a date for when these will be available from Arccos (the supplier). All Cobra golf clubs ordered with an Arccos grip option will have non-active sensors fitted at the butt end of the grip. Customers who receive these non-active sensors will be able to claim the active sensors from Arccos directly when setting up the app, and these will be sent to you once Arccos has the available stock. Again, please note that all new orders for Cobra golf clubs will exclude active Arccos Sensors on Arccos Grips.
