The JPX921 Forged Iron integrates the power of Chromoly into a full-body Forged iron for the very first time.
Initially applied in Mizuno's Hot Metal irons - Chromoly has made the cross over to a Mizuno's forgings with staggering results. The fastest ball speeds Mizuno has ever produced from a fully Forged iron - a treat for both the senses and the scorecard. Forged in Japan, the grain Flow Forged HD process at Mizuno's legendary facility produces and identifiable and unsurpassed Mizuno feel.
919 Forged is CNC back milled with a 6.4% wider back milled slot that increases stability from off centre strikes – from a smaller clubhead. For better player looks, the set has a shorter blade length throughout, bevelled training edge and reduced offset.
A pearl brushed finish provides anti-glare to minimise distractions over the ball and the set is fitted as standard with the Nippon NS Pro Modus Tour 105 shaft and Multi Compound MCC Plus4 Grip for a premium finish. Through custom build, you can also choose any upgrade shaft or grip at no extra cost.
