5 - Grip Size

Ping Grip Size
Since grip size is such an important fitting variable, PING manufacturers grips in variety of different sizes (diameters), or color codes. Grip size can have a dramatic impact on ball flight since it affects the release of the hands through impact.Colour codes equate to: Orange 1/16.. Gold 1/32.. White Standard..Aqua -1/64..Red -1/32..Blue -1/16..
6 - Club Length

Ping Club Length
Having the proper golf club length is a key ingredient to being able to make a good golf swing. Clubs that are too short or too long will hinder your ability to rotate and properly transfer your weight during the swing. It could also cause you to ground the club too early if they are too long or top the ball if they are too short
7 - Lie Angle
Choose Option
Ping Lie Angle
Lie angle is the angle between the bottom, or sole, of the golf club and the shaft. Having the proper lie angle is critical if you want the opportunity to make accurate golf shots. The purpose in adjusting the golf club's lie angle is to ensure that the club is resting squarly on its sole when you are addressing your shot. This will help get your swing on the right plane and keep the clubface square at impact. A lie angle that is too upright will cause the heel of the club to hit the ground first, which will close the clubface and produce a pull or hook. A lie angle that is too flat causes the toe to hit the ground first, opening the clubface, which will result in a push or slice.
8 - Irons Loft
Choose Option
Ping Irons Loft
Golf clubs with standard loft angles will suit most golfers. The purpose in selecting a different loft for your club(s) would be to help correct a tendency to hit consistently lower trajectory or higher trajectory shots than would be normal. Strong loft means lower loft angle. Heavy hitters with strong hand action may want a "strong" loft to get more distance and keep the ball lower and out of the wind

Faster Ball Speed
A proprietary heat-treating process creates Hyper 17-4 stainless steel and strengthens the face, allowing for more flexing that generates increased distance and a higher max height to hold shots on the green.

Purflex Technology
An innovative new badge with seven flex zones allows for more free bending to increase ball speed across the face for longer results. In combination with a lower CG, the badge contributes to the solid feel and pleasing impact sound.

Shaped For Success
The more compact shape provides a clean look. The shorter hosel helps lower the CG and align it with the force line to increase ball speed and ensure solid impact, especially low on the face. A hydropearl 2.0 chrome finish delivers consistency from wet or dry grass.

Solid, Forgiving
Approximately 1° of additional bounce throughout the set ensures clean turf interaction and pure strikes, minimising “heavy” shots that come up short. Tungsten toe and shaft tip weights contribute to a high MOI and tighter dispersion.

Gapping Solution
The stronger lofts across the set resulted in the addition of a 41° PW to ensure proper gapping options and allowed for standard lofts in the traditional scoring wedges (45.5°, 50°, 54°, 58°).

G430 High Launch (HL)
The lighter ALTA Quick (35/45) shaft is one component of the HL build that includes a 41-gram Lamkin UTx grip, and lighter toe and tip weights in the head, all designed to help slower-swing-speed players increase clubhead speed and ball velocity.

A key contributor to the added distance is the PurFlex cavity badge, an innovation with seven flex zones that allows more free bending to increase ball speed across the face. In combination with a lower CG, the badge contributes to the solid feel and pleasing impact sound. The stronger lofts across the set resulted in the addition of a 41° PW to ensure proper gapping options and allowed for standard lofts in the traditional scoring wedges (45.5°, 50°, 54°, 58°).

Among the refinements to the overall shape is a shorter hosel, which creates a more compact, clean look and helps lower the CG, aligning it closer to the force line to increase ball speed and ensure solid impact, especially low on the face. Approximately 1° of additional bounce throughout the set provides clean turf interaction and pure strikes, minimizing “heavy” shots that come up short. The high-density tungsten toe and shaft tip weights contribute to its high MOI and produce tighter dispersion patterns. The hydropearl 2.0 chrome finish delivers consistent performance from wet or dry grass.
