Designed in close collaboration with PING tour pros and company advisors, Glide Forged wedges are premium quality in their compact design, soft feel using 8620 carbon steel, high spin, and shot-making versatility. A unique customization program enables you to choose from multiple graphics and stamping options.

Higher Spin for Control
Patented, precision-milled, wheel-cut grooves enable grooves with a sharper edge radius, which increases interaction with the ball at impact, creating more friction for improved spin and trajectory control.

Soft, Assured Feel
8620 carbon steel produces an incredibly soft feel in the blade-style head. Every detail was covered, including milling the back of the wedge to create a distinct, appealing pattern. A tungsten toe weight adds forgiveness.

Tour-Inspired Shape
The small profile is complemented by the tour-inspired gooseneck-tapered hosel that allows for a smooth transition through grass and sand and provides a captured look.

Designed for Versatility
A sole design with a rounded lead edge and more heel-toe camber allows for more shot-making creativity around the green. The face is machined flat to ensure consistent ball speeds, especially toward the toe, to improve accuracy.

1 - Hand Choice
Choose Option
Ping Hand Choice
It's fair to say that this option is self explanatory...Choose Right Hand if you are Right Handed...Choose Left hand if you are Left Handed.
2 - Loft & Bounce
Choose Option
Ping Loft & Bounce
Loft angle affects both trajectory and distance; the more loft, the higher the trajectory. A wedge with more bounce is easier to play from soft sand or grass because it will naturally fight the tendency to dig in. A wedge with less bounce tends to dig more, and is better for firm conditions when digging is more difficult.
3 - Shaft Selection

6 - Grip Size
Choose Option
Ping Grip Size
Since grip size is such an important fitting variable, PING manufacturers grips in variety of different sizes (diameters), or color codes. Grip size can have a dramatic impact on ball flight since it affects the release of the hands through impact.Colour codes equate to: Orange 1/16.. Gold 1/32.. White Standard..Aqua -1/64..Red -1/32..Blue -1/16..
7 - Club Length
Choose Option
Ping Club Length
Having the proper golf club length is a key ingredient to being able to make a good golf swing. Clubs that are too short or too long will hinder your ability to rotate and properly transfer your weight during the swing. It could also cause you to ground the club too early if they are too long or top the ball if they are too short
8 - Lie Angle
Choose Option
Ping Lie Angle
Lie angle is the angle between the bottom, or sole, of the golf club and the shaft. Having the proper lie angle is critical if you want the opportunity to make accurate golf shots. The purpose in adjusting the golf club's lie angle is to ensure that the club is resting squarly on its sole when you are addressing your shot. This will help get your swing on the right plane and keep the clubface square at impact. A lie angle that is too upright will cause the heel of the club to hit the ground first, which will close the clubface and produce a pull or hook. A lie angle that is too flat causes the toe to hit the ground first, opening the clubface, which will result in a push or slice.
9 - Loft Angle
Choose Option
Ping Loft Angle
Golf clubs with standard loft angles will suit most golfers. The purpose in selecting a different loft for your club(s) would be to help correct a tendency to hit consistently lower trajectory or higher trajectory shots than would be normal. Strong loft means lower loft angle. Heavy hitters with strong hand action may want a "strong" loft to get more distance and keep the ball lower and out of the wind
