 2022 PHANTOM X 7The 2022 Phantom X 7 is a transformation from the previous generation, familiar in name, but completely re-designed from the sole up with inspiration from our game’s finest players. One of the most-requested mallet designs on Tour, its precision milled solid stainless steel face and putter head are integrated with a new center-balanced aluminum sole/flange component for better alignment, increased stability and higher MOI. First unveiled as the 2021 My Girl Limited and validated on Tour, this new mallet’s long, angular wings aid alignment and position weight toward the back and perimeter. The milled sight line on the topline combined with the white lines in the flange simplify setup for confidence over every putt. A revamped Pistolero Plus grip with a decorative, non-slip texture joins a stepless steel shaft with a single mid-bend precisely aimed down the target line for a nearly-face balanced modern mallet that exemplifies the craftsmanship of a Scotty Cameron milled putter. 2022 PHANTOM X TECHNOLOGY Each new 2022 Phantom X putter is a combination of steel and aluminium, with nine of the 10 models engineered specifically with a solid, precision-milled 303 stainless steel face and body that is expertly fused with a 6061 aircraft grade aluminium sole and flange component. The new Phantom X 12 employs an aluminium face and sole with stainless steel wings for maximum MOI, while its slimmed down flange section and extended alignment create a longer-looking, easier to-aim update to the previous model. SOLID STAINLESS STEEL FACE/BODY CONSTRUCTION Precision milled in the United States from a block of solid 303 stainless steel, the new Phantom X 5, 5.5, 5s, 7, 7.5, 9, 9.5, 11 and 11.5 models were designed with a solid stainless steel face that is carried through to the body and wings, as well as offering an integrated aluminium sole/flange component for performance and playability with consistent sound and soft feel. PRECISION MILLED, TOUR-INSPIRED SHAPES Designed with feedback from touring professionals, and validated with multiple victories around the world in 2021, the new 2022 Phantom X mallets further express player preferences with features like precision milled solid stainless steel faces, sleek putter head profiles, refined alignment cues, high durability finishes, and specific shaft and neck configurations. DUAL PURPOSE ALIGNMENT A single milled sight line painted black on the topline paired with the long, white sight lines in the flange frame the golf ball and provide confident rail-like alignment. MID-BEND SHAFT TECHNOLOGY The stepless steel shaft has been engineered to minimize face rotation—or arc—in the putting stroke by incorporating a single “mid” bend aimed directly down the target line. PHANTOM X WEIGHTING & SHAFTS Each new Phantom X putter features advanced stability weighting with two custom stainless steel heel-toe weights and stepless steel shafts. Each new Phantom X putter comes with an updated Pistolero Plus grip with a non-slip and decorative texture that, like its Pistolero plus predecessors, has less taper in the low hand for the ideal combination of size, feel and feedback when paired with Phantom X mallet putters.
