The Titleist AP1 718 irons have been billed as ‘The Ultimate Game Improvement Iron’ and with this new sleek design and improved weighting it is easy to see why.

You still get that classic AP1 inspiring look when it is sat behind the ball but it is in the cavity and face that things have moved on.

A combination of hollow-body long irons, undercut cavity mid irons and short irons mean that you are going to be able maximise distance and trajectory with every iron in the set. You will launch it high and land it soft with the new lower CG location and tungsten weighting, the weighting changes in each iron for the ultimate consistency.

To provide a more-forgiving face than the previous model the AP1 718 features a higher MOI, this will also give you faster ball speeds across the whole face to narrow down the distance gap between a good and bad shot.

Titleist have fitted these excellent irons with the premium Tensei CK graphite shafts, these shafts offer excellent consistency and will help you achieve a tighter distance and accuracy dispersion.

Launch it high and land it soft with a lower CG and refined tungsten weighting for each individual iron. Hit longer shots that hold the green more often, putting you in better scoring positions.

AP1 irons not only deliver more distance, but also produce more consistent gapping throughout the set. Hollow-body long irons and undercut cavity mid and short irons mean you’ll be able to maximise carry distance for every shot.

A higher MOI gives you more room on the face to hit it pure. An improved leading edge creates better turf interaction, for more consistent contact. Together they let you hit every shot closer to your target.

Titleist Grip Size
This is where you can choose the size of the grip on your club. Some golfers are happy to play with the standard grip whilst others prefer a thicker grip,i.e. Midsize. The grip thickness is achieved by applying tape to the club shaft underneath the grip. Here you can choose to have between 1 and 5 lengths of tape with 1 being standard and 5 being midsize
7 - Club Length
Choose Option
Titleist Club Length
Having the proper golf club length is a key ingredient to being able to make a good golf swing. Clubs that are too short or too long will hinder your ability to rotate and properly transfer your weight during the swing. It could also cause you to ground the club too early if they are too long or top the ball if they are too short.
8 - Lie Angle
Choose Option
Titleist Lie Angle
Lie angle is the angle between the bottom, or sole, of the golf club and the shaft. Having the proper lie angle is critical if you want the opportunity to make accurate golf shots. The purpose in adjusting the golf club's lie angle is to ensure that the club is resting squarly on its sole when you are addressing your shot. This will help get your swing on the right plane and keep the clubface square at impact. A lie angle that is too upright will cause the heel of the club to hit the ground first, which will close the clubface and produce a pull or hook. A lie angle that is too flat causes the toe to hit the ground first, opening the clubface, which will result in a push or slice.
