The Titleist Vokey SM7 Tour Chrome Wedge has been engineered to provide you with the necessary high levels of performance that will sharpen your short game.

Titleist have made the SM7 available in three finishes - a Tour Chrome, Black or Brushed Steel. All three finishes look stunning and deliver the same performance.

The classic shape of Vokey wedges remains unchanged when over the golf ball but the key technologies used during the manufacturing process are what will take your game to new heights.

Progressive Centre of Gravity (CG) - Each loft, bounce and grind has an optimised CG location that will improve distance control, produce incredible feel and provide a tighter dispersion. As you work through the lofts the CG location changes, for example lower lofted wedges have a low CG compared to higher CG in the higher lofts. This is what gives the SM7 Wedges a consistent ball flight and trajectory.

Spin Milled Grooves - A loft specific Spin Milled process provides each finish with the sharpest, most consistent groove edges. Vokey has used a Parallel Face Texture design to ensure there are tighter tolerances, maximum spin and less inconsistencies off the face.

Low-mid lofts (46-54°) have narrower, deeper grooves for fuller shot control especially from the rough.
Mid-high lofts (56-62°) have wider, shallower grooves that will enable you to maximise spin with shorter greenside swings.

All the SM7 Wedges utilise a heat treatment process that produces groove durability for long-lasting performance.

  • Grinds - The are a total of six different grinds in the SM7 range and there is no better way of explaining this than to quote the master craftsman Bob Vokey.
  • “Wedges need to be versatile and every player is different. It’s never one size fits all for wedges. That’s why we have many grind options.”
  • F Grind - The F Grind is an all-purpose grind that is particularly suited for full shots and shots hit with a square face. Ideal for players who prefer a traditional wedge sole, the F Grind is the most played sand wedge on Tour.
  • M Grind - The M Grind is designed for players that like to rotate the club face open and closed to manufacture shots around the green. Ideal for players with a shallower, more sweeping swing type who play shots from a variety of clubface positions.
  • S Grind - The S Grind is best for square faced shots with a touch more versatility than the F Grind. Simple mechanics are best with this wedge.
  • D Grind - The D Grind is the newest edition to the Vokey lineup and is the player’s high bounce wedge. High measured bounce with the crescent shape of the M Grind is ideal for players with a steeper angle of attack who play with a variety of clubface positions.
  • K Grind - The K Grind is the highest bounce wedge in the lineup and is the ultimate bunker club. The K Grind is a wide, full sole wedge with enhanced camber to make it forgiving from a variety of sand and turf conditions.
  • L Grind - The L Grind features a narrow crescent shape allowing maximum greenside versatility. Perfect for firm conditions and designed for skilled players who frequently open or close the clubface to create shots around the green.

1 - Hand Choice

Titleist Hand Choice
It's fair to say that this option is self explanatory...Choose Right Hand if you are Right Handed...Choose Left hand if you are Left Handed.
2 - Loft & Bounce

Titleist Loft & Bounce

Loft angle affects both trajectory and distance; the more loft, the higher the trajectory. A wedge with more bounce is easier to play from soft sand or grass because it will naturally fight the tendency to dig in. A wedge with less bounce tends to dig more, and is better for firm conditions when digging is more difficult.

3 - Shaft Selection

6 - Grip Size

Titleist Grip Size
This is where you can choose the size of the grip on your club. Some golfers are happy to play with the standard grip whilst others prefer a thicker grip,i.e. Midsize. The grip thickness is achieved by applying tape to the club shaft underneath the grip. Here you can choose to have between 1 and 5 lengths of tape with 1 being standard and 5 being midsize
7 - Club Length
Choose Option
Titleist Shaft Length
Having the proper golf club length is a key ingredient to being able to make a good golf swing. Clubs that are too short or too long will hinder your ability to rotate and properly transfer your weight during the swing. It could also cause you to ground the club too early if they are too long or top the ball if they are too short.
8 - Lie Angle
Choose Option
Titleist Lie Angle
Lie angle is the angle between the bottom, or sole, of the golf club and the shaft. Having the proper lie angle is critical if you want the opportunity to make accurate golf shots. The purpose in adjusting the golf club's lie angle is to ensure that the club is resting squarly on its sole when you are addressing your shot. This will help get your swing on the right plane and keep the clubface square at impact. A lie angle that is too upright will cause the heel of the club to hit the ground first, which will close the clubface and produce a pull or hook. A lie angle that is too flat causes the toe to hit the ground first, opening the clubface, which will result in a push or slice.

9 - Loft Angle
Choose Option
Titleist Loft Angle
Golf clubs with standard loft angles will suit most golfers. The purpose in selecting a different loft for your club(s) would be to help correct a tendency to hit consistently lower trajectory or higher trajectory shots than would be normal. Strong loft means lower loft angle. Heavy hitters with strong hand action may want a "strong" loft to get more distance and keep the ball lower and out of the wind
