The D300 Irons feature Wilson Staff’s next generation of FLX Face Technology to deliver maximum flex upon impact.

Wilson Staff doesn’t just want the D in their D Series to stand for distance they want it to define it.  With their new D300 range the brand has gone to great lengths to ensure they use the latest in technology and innovation to produce a line of golf clubs that help a player by giving them a bit more forgiveness, distance and confidence at address.

The D300 Irons are all about better feel, control and power.  Utilising three key features these irons promise improved sound, accuracy and distance.  The D300 features the brand’s next generation of FLX Face Technology that allows for 76% of the face to be completely free from the body to deliver maximum flex upon impact.  Power Holes filled with TE031 Urethane further allow the face to flex upon impact.  While specific heel-toe weightings placed on the extreme perimeter of the club head help to increase MOI for maximum forgiveness.

FLX FACE TECHNOLOGY

The ground breaking FLX Face technology minimizes contact points between the thin face and club head for maximum face flex upon impact. 76% of the topline, toe and sole perimeter is freed from contact to the body, limiting contact to only 24% of the perimeter.

POWER HOLES

Filled with TE031 Urethane, the Power Holes allow the face to flex upon impact for extreme distance.

HEEL-TOE WEIGHTING

Heel and toe weight pods positioned on the perimeter on the club head increase MOI for advanced forgiveness.

6 - Grip Size

Wilson Grip Size
This is where you can choose the size of the grip on your club. Some golfers are happy to play with the standard grip whilst others prefer a thicker grip,i.e. Midsize. The grip thickness is achieved by applying tape to the club shaft underneath the grip. Here you can choose to have between 1 and 4 lengths of tape with 1 being standard and 4 being midsize
7 - Club Length
Choose Option
Wilson Club Length
Having the proper golf club length is a key ingredient to being able to make a good golf swing. Clubs that are too short or too long will hinder your ability to rotate and properly transfer your weight during the swing. It could also cause you to ground the club too early if they are too long or top the ball if they are too short.
8 - Lie Angle
Choose Option
Wilson Lie Angle
Lie angle is the angle between the bottom, or sole, of the golf club and the shaft. Having the proper lie angle is critical if you want the opportunity to make accurate golf shots. The purpose in adjusting the golf club's lie angle is to ensure that the club is resting squarly on its sole when you are addressing your shot. This will help get your swing on the right plane and keep the clubface square at impact. A lie angle that is too upright will cause the heel of the club to hit the ground first, which will close the clubface and produce a pull or hook. A lie angle that is too flat causes the toe to hit the ground first, opening the clubface, which will result in a push or slice.
