The Wilson Staff FG Tour V6 Irons have been developed for the Feel player who is looking for the ultimate combination of a sleek classic design that offers soft feedback with shot-shaping consistency and control.

Wilson Staff are one of the most famous brands in golf history. Having won 59 major titles, more than any other manufacturer, it is their iron technology and the classic styling of their forged irons that has helped to make them so popular.

The classic head shape of the FG Tour V6 has been created by using an 8620 carbon steel for the ultimate feel, responsiveness and feedback. A progressive design using an innovative Tungsten weighting system provides the perfect balance through the set.

  • Long Irons - Features a split Tungsten weight between the heel and toe area to deliver maximum MOI stability, forgiveness and an easy-to-launch trajectory.
  • Mid Irons - Features a single Tungsten weight in the middle of the sole, this single weight lowers the CG behind the hitting zone to provide maximum forgiveness and excellent distance control.
  • Short Irons - No Tungsten has been used in the shorter irons to deliver greater shot-making consistency and precision in terms of trajectory and distance control.

The Impact Mass Area technology offers a solid, muscle back feel whilst offering the reponsiveness and forgiveness of a cavity iron.

6 - Grip Size
Choose Option
Wilson Grip Size
This is where you can choose the size of the grip on your club. Some golfers are happy to play with the standard grip whilst others prefer a thicker grip,i.e. Midsize. The grip thickness is achieved by applying tape to the club shaft underneath the grip. Here you can choose to have between 1 and 4 lengths of tape with 1 being standard and 4 being midsize
7 - Club Length
Choose Option
Wilson Club Length
Having the proper golf club length is a key ingredient to being able to make a good golf swing. Clubs that are too short or too long will hinder your ability to rotate and properly transfer your weight during the swing. It could also cause you to ground the club too early if they are too long or top the ball if they are too short.
8 - Lie Angle
Choose Option
Wilson Lie Angle
Lie angle is the angle between the bottom, or sole, of the golf club and the shaft. Having the proper lie angle is critical if you want the opportunity to make accurate golf shots. The purpose in adjusting the golf club's lie angle is to ensure that the club is resting squarely on its sole when you are addressing your shot. This will help get your swing on the right plane and keep the clubface square at impact. A lie angle that is too upright will cause the heel of the club to hit the ground first, which will close the clubface and produce a pull or hook. A lie angle that is too flat causes the toe to hit the ground first, opening the clubface, which will result in a push or slice.
